I didn't know that David knew this song. Usually it's Candace that knows the old songs....

For DJ:
The extra "2" is appreciated. It will move things along and let me eat, Thanks. Also I am really enjoying your writing. You should think of keeping it up after you return.

For CD:
The painting looks good so far. They are almost upstairs, We had a talk today of what they can leave alone - (ie the panel for DJ room will be oak to match the floors. Please don't paint.). We are all having a hard time because of the humidity - they because it takes everthing forever to dry and me because I'm in a couple of closets. I kept telling them not to open the windows and just let the fans work and then gave up, anyway . . . Design desision : after emptying the two closets and demo-ing the opening for O's room we get a 24" opening with a 22" cab unit. This is good I think it will be fine. The thing is after framing etc for using the extra space on the other side we end up with 6" or less in width so a) is this worth it and b) framing out a 6" space retroactive is a bitch even though I am skinny and have already lost 5 lbs this week or c) do we eat the 6" on the 4' bottom cab and gain 6 inches for the 4' of shelving up above on otis's side. let me know.

Keep the faith,

Michael

You and Candace are in my thoughts. I read your blog every day. Otis is adorable! I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you guys until the court date is over and you are on your way back home. I hope the days pass quickly. I am thinking of you and wishing you well. The only thing I can say is you have missed a lousy weather week over here. To compare it to pea soup would be a positive statement. Hang in there.

I love that Otis will get to read about the construction and cost of his room, along with all the mushy stuff. Eat the 6" on the bottom, and give us more shelf space above. I can live with the creation of adolescent stash space. Miss you.

Love, C
