Where We're Going
Above is a map of Kazakhstan. Almaty is on the lower right (southeast), 200 miles from the Chinese border. The country is over a million square miles. Kazakhs like to say you can fit five Frances into the area.
I, we, hope you will be able to continue this blog and post from over yonder. You are about to embark on something extraordinary, something so selfless and wonderful. . . For those of us who don't have the ability or the balls, quite frankly, to be so intrepid we hope that you will feed us just enough, at least, until you return, safely, with a living, breathing addition not only to Brooklyn's fabulous international flavor but most importantly, to two of Brooklyn's finest people (and Bruno too!). You folks rock! So Happy to know you! xoxox
