After one flash, it's extremely hard to take a candid of Otis; he knows that something's going on and just stares right at whomever has the camera.

BTW, Milena explained to us the other day why we were not shown any special needs children, notwithstanding Almaty policy. (And notwithstanding the special needs children we were offered but not shown.) She got this from the OD during their private chat.......

Since we are old and unlikely to have a second child, we need a kid who when he grows up will be able to take care of us! Which we thought was really sweet in an incredibly "We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto" kind of way.
