Computer Hell
I suspect Sterling will sympathize, but with his better equipment and greater knowledge, maybe these problems were less irritating in South America..... We are pretty sure the problem is in the phone line somewhere between the street and the back of the computer (probably street and jack in the bedroom), but then again it might just be a generally crappy phone system, or maybe a piece of software we've been running that is acting particularly oddly. Tomorrow will be dedicated to fixing the problem (after seeing the O Man). Happily for all, we are now on a 10-12 schedule, so he is cheerier, and we have more time for stupidity like this. We managed to post one picture from the 4th - definitely not the one I would have chosen if I'd known there was only going to be one - before everything crapped out again. We took some nice pics today, including the promised photos of the Green Bazaar. With luck, you will see them tomorrow.
Love you all.
Love you all.

Candace and David, what a relief! I was going to call you if I didn't see anything here.
If you need a new laptop, I will ship you one. Obviously, I can't do much about your applications ...
All the best, and love to you and to Otis!
