I Like the Bracelet Dad Got for Your Birthday, Mom

The bracelet, and the earrings, which you can't see in this picture, are sterling/onyx and in a traditional Kazakh design. The traditional motifs are repeated in jewelry, embroidery, rugs, and other textiles. Oddly, they look a lot like Ukrainian design, and therefore, a little like Celtic and Scandinavian design.
