Mama Janis & Boden
This is Otis' group-mate, Boden. Boden just turned one and is walking like a champ.... albeit pretty bow-legged. As a testimony to some combination of (1) the real quality of care at this orphanage, (2) the variability of infant development, and (3) the power of just two hours a day of intervention by parents, I thought it was interesting that, like Otis, Boden was, according to his medical records, not sitting up on his own at eight months.
He is sitting in his Grandma's lap. Those of you who are alert enough to detect a little revisionist history here, wait 'til you check back to some earlier entries and see how literally revisionism can be taken. Sometimes it is possible to be too sophisticated. (No!)
With luck, sometime before Boden & Co. leave, we will get a picture of Boden and Otis playing, i.e. Boden stealing Otis' toys and Otis looking shocked! shocked!

Look at those big, beautiful footsies!
Please don't tell me you're monkeying with earlier entries! The shoot-from-the-heart immediacy of them is a big part of what makes your blog so moving and vital. Don't change a thing (well, maybe a misspelled word or 2; I am an editor, after all).
