Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now!
Today, we had our exit interview at the U.S. Consulate. Surprise, surprise, we passed. Our interviewer was a very nice young guy from Westerly, RI, who told us we had been in KZ longer than he had. True or not, pretty funny.
Sorry re the bad picture, but I was rushed, since Max kept insisting that it was FORBIDDEN to take a picture this close to the actual Consulate. (And in fact, the guards insisted on holding our camera for us when they inspected our bags before we went up to to the Consulate itself.)

Horay - now you really only have to wait to get on the plane. Otis is such a cutie!! Have a safe trip home on Saturday! Bet you can't wait to get that little guy home already.
So why don't you leave tomorrow already?
Mel: no flights until early Saturday morning, plus plans have been been carefully coordinated with others for our return Saturday afternoon. Also most importantly, CD still has some shopping to do.--David
I think it would be cool if you put a map on the blog, showing the route you are taking as you convey Otis back to the waiting people of Brooklyn.
Can't wait to see all of you!!!! I also miss seeing Bruno around the neighborhood (ok, at Pete's) Hurry up and get here!!!! Otis looks really happy and so do both of you!!!!
Love,
Jessica
