Otis Decides the Playpen Ain't So Bad

The boy is making great leaps forward everyday. He actually went down for a long nap at around 11:00 this morning. Candace went out shopping, he woke up and let me put him in the playpen while I finished washing the dishes. You can see he likes his new squeaky hammer just fine.

I see that you now have less time for blogs now that you have a baby at home. I'm sure, however, that that is O.K. with you. At the last motel Bruno started his joyful bark, when he saw David (a reasonable facsimile) walking down the hall toward him, only to abruptly stop, when he saw it wasn't the real McCoy. I think he will be overjoyed to see you. He has mostly been well behaved and most affectionate.
Is your arrival date 8/6? should we get any items for Otis before your arrival? Diapers? Formula?
We look forward to meeting Otis. I will yet write my long welcome letter Swedish style.

Loretta - I completely agree. It's almost like it's not the same baby as the one we saw three weeks ago.

Like a wilting flower which has been watered ...
